When you use all the weight plates of the adjustable barbell set they have a total weight of 36 Kg together with the barbell. You can adjust the total weight in 7 steps from 9-36 Kg. The adjustment mechanism is very similar to the well-known mechanism of the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells.
Using a rotary wheel, you simply set the desired weight and only the appropriate weight plates are fixed to the bar. Included with the Bowflex adjustable barbell set is also a shelf.
If the 36 kg maximum weight of the Bowflex barbell set is too little for you, you can expand it by 18 kg with the upgrade kit. To have the Bowflex SelectTech at grip height, you can still order the stand with media rack. In addition to another shelf for the barbell bar, the stand also has a platform for your tablet. So you always have all exercise executions in view or can watch your favorite series during the workout.
